BELLEVILLE — New Jersey State Police are making a fresh plea for information on more victims of a man they say sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy on multiple occasions

Ethan Z. Chandler was initially arrested on Dec. 1 at his apartment by New Jersey State Police officers. There, with a search warrant, they confiscated computers, his cell phone and other potential evidence, police said.

As reported earlier this month by NJ1015.com, authorities say he was first arrested on a second-degree charge of luring a child after an undercover detective tricked Chandler into thinking he was a 13-year-old boy interested in meeting for sex.

He was arrested again six days later after, prosecutors say, they found evidence of the rape on his cell phone, computer and other belongings. Authorities said they found evidence suggesting he may also have sexually assaulted at least one other 14-year-old boy and sent nude photos of himself to at least three boys.

In 2014 he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in Municipal Court after being caught at a Livingston Mall bathroom kissing a young man who appeared to be a minor. The young man fled, but Chandler reportedly admitted to police that he believed he was a minor.

Chandler’s public Facebook account contains almost nothing but numerous photos of him posing with young, sometimes shirtless, teenage boys.

According to State Police, Chandler operates a video production company and films sports events at schools across the region, bringing him into close contact with children. He posts highlights of the vides on YouTube.

He's lived throughout northern New Jersey, in Bergen, Essex, and Morris counties, State Police said.

He also previously lived in Norwalk, Stamford, and Monroe in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and in  Davidson County, Tennessee.

Police are asking anyone with knowledge of a possible victim to call the New Jersey State Police Digital Technology Investigations Unit at 609-584-5051 ext. 5624 or email hitech@gw.njsp.org.
