NEWS REPORTER/NEWS ASSISTANT

Townsquare Media Trenton in Trenton, New Jersey, is looking to hire a New Jersey Reporter/News Assistant for NJ1015.com, the award-winning digital news arm of New Jersey’s largest news/talk radio station, New Jersey 101.5.

This is an opportunity for a journalist looking to stand out in the state's competitive press corps by uncovering and telling the stories that make a difference. He or she should also have a passion for learning and a desire to grow in the field of digital journalism and content creation.

The right candidate should be a self-starter who can develop sources and leads while producing clean and compelling copy. They should also be a multi-tasker who is comfortable both organizing long-term projects as well as taking the lead during breaking news.

The candidate should have experience in developing content for multiple platforms with a knack for adapting to the latest storytelling tools and techniques. The job requires an appreciation for search engine optimization and how to source stories through social media. Experience with video/audio editing and basic knowledge of online coding a plus.

DIGITAL SALES LEAD

As a Digital Sales Lead for the Trenton market, you'll help to provide integrated digital marketing solutions to ensure client success and account growth. Townsquare Ignite has proven to be a local leader in providing digital marketing solutions providing both turn-key and custom digital solutions for all size businesses.

Your responsibility will be to drive and grow digital business with advertisers in local communities. You'll manage business relationships to ensure that the clients' needs and requirements are met.
