Camden County police arrested 62-year-old Nimrod Lasman after he allegedly tried to meet an underage boy for a sexual encounter. Detectives say the boy was actually an undercover officer.
Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay said Nimrod Lasman arranged to meet the boy at the Cooper River Dog Park on Monday during an online chat. The "boy" was actually an undercover officer with the CCPO's High Tech Crimes Unit.
Cherry Hill police issued an alert about an "active investigation around Walt Whitman Boulevard and Baldwin Road at 11:40 a.m. outside a home across from the Horace Mann Elementary School.
Following a bank robbery, Nathaniel Stroud, Jr., formerly of Trenton and Florence NJ, was charged with second-degree robbery and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
