CAMDEN — Camden County Police Department say they've caught a woman caught on surveillance video directing a child to steal cash from a Chinese restaurant.

Sgt. Madrid Matthews and Vivian Coley located and arrested  Lynntia Stratton, 28, of Camden on Tuesday, police said.

The incident was caught on camera on Aug. 6, when Stratton entered the restaurant on Chase Street and told her 7-year-old daughter to go behind the counter and take the cash, police said. the two left the restaurant after that.

Following the release of video last Friday, police said, "the department received overwhelming response from the community to help identify Stratton as the suspect."

She was found on the 300 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard and placed her under arrest without incident, police said.

She was charged with endangering the welfare of children, employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, burglary and theft.
