I’ve never seen this on a car and not sure how to feel about it

People do crazy things to their cars for whatever reason. Whether it’s self-expression or attention seeking or personal whimsy, there are certainly enough women’s eyelashes around headlights and “Toy Story” characters hanging onto bumpers to go around. 

Sometimes it’s for safety, like a sticker or magnet that says Student Driver - Please Be Patient. One like this became a joke over the years. That’s the Baby On Board sign.

It’s often hated because it can be taken as we otherwise would have thought nothing of crashing into that person’s car at 100 mph if not for that Baby On Board sign. Then there are those who say it's not to prevent a crash but to let EMTs know after a crash to look for an infant in the wreckage.

Makes no sense though because first responders are already trained to check throughout a crashed vehicle for survivors. 

But the other day I saw one of a somewhat similar theme that I had never seen before. I had to grab a pic.

Yes, you read that right. Both stickers flanking the license plate read Pregnant On Board. 

What are we supposed to do with this information? Again, is it that we will drive more safely around a pregnant driver? Which of course implies we will be reckless and stupid around anyone who is not pregnant. Is this where we draw the line and become law abiding? 

Or is this meant to just share their happy news with a world that doesn’t care unless you know them personally? 

Should we come up with even more stickers with silly, presumptuous reasons to assume you’ll suddenly drive safer? How about Hot Coffee On Board? Or Only One Car Payment Left On Board?

I’ve never been a fan of bumper stickers but this one really took me aback.
