Video Leads To Arrest In Shoplifting Dance

It's not "Dancing With The Stars" quality, but a shoplifting suspect in south Jersey may soon be dancing behind bars.

Police in Gloucester Township used YouTube to publicize a surveillance video showing a suspect shoplifting a woman's dress by stuffing it under his shirt while dancing in the store on Oct. 1.

Numerous tips from the public led to the arrest of 26-year-old Anthony DiVietro of Stratford on shoplifting charges. He was released pending a court date. No telephone listing could be found for him.

Police Chief Harry Earle says the video marked the fourth time since February his department has used social media to help crack a case.
