There's a lot of fun events on our calendar, but here's our top picks for this weekend:

Best of North, Central and South Jersey

Oktoberfest and Vendor Fair will be hosted in North Jersey, on Saturday, Oct. 10. (Rain Date: Sunday, October 11).  Kids will have food, rides and entertainment! German and American foods and beer will be available. Oktoberfest will have live music and dancing for all at the pavilion. Venders will be at the park. The fair celebrates New Jersey’s German heritage.The fair will take place noon to 5 p.m.  Admission is 7 dollars per person, kids under 10 years old are free.  The fair will take place at the Forest Lodge, 11 Reinman Road, Warren.

Central Jersey is hosting Full Moon After Dark at iPlay America on Friday Oct. 9. Every Friday night in October, iPlay America will be hosting "Full Moon After Dark." The interactive dance party will feature several Halloween characters dancing to some classic fun Halloween songs. The location is 110 Schanck Road, Freehold,

South Jersey is hosting South Jersey Pumpkin Show on Friday, Oct. 9 Saturday Oct. 10 & Sunday, October 1. Admissions is free, parking $5 a carload and free shopping bags for visitors. Gardeners and pumpkin growers can bring in their heaviest pumpkin and participate in the Weigh Off on Sunday Oct. 11, at noon. $4,000 in prize money up for grabs. Visitors can enjoy pumpkin desserts, contests, scarecrows, amusement rides, give-a-ways, pumpkin toss, live bands, wine sampling, festival food court, NJ Largest Baked Pumpkin Pie, pony rides and haunted hayrides. Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. , Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The location is Salem County Fairgrounds, 735 Harding Highway (Route 40), Pilesgrove Woodstown
