Ah, pothole season in New Jersey. If you’ve lived here long enough, you know the drill. As soon as the snow starts to melt, our roads seem to turn into a minefield of craters.

From the sudden jolt that feels like your car might fall apart to swerving to avoid one (and hoping no one’s in the other lane), potholes are pretty much a given at this point.

So, what can you do about it? Well, I’ve put together a little survival guide for getting through pothole season in NJ.

And just think, kids, spring is here and soon your town or the state will be doing something to remedy those craters, whether it’s a temporary fix or a really good permanent one. And then I’ll see you here at the same time next year when we’ll be talking about this all over again. Because, after all, it’s New Jersey!
