January and February tend to be the worst months for colds and flu. Our producer Doubledown has been having a sinus thing. I've been fighting something off myself the last two days. When you've popped the extra vitamin C and don't want to drown yourself in cold medicines, what else can you do other than the classic chicken soup?

As luck would have it, I had almonds in the cupboard and white seedless grapes in the fridge. Guess what I had for dinner after reading this? Hey it can't hurt, and it's all healthy stuff anyway. As long as Bill Doyle's porridge isn't in the top ten I say try it all!
