On today's show Bill and their former producer Double Down (filling in for Jeff)  were discussing 'food ruts.'  These are times when you find yourself eating the same thing day in and day out for long periods of time.

Double Down always gets on Bill's case because Bill eats the same concoction every day for lunch that we have now aptly named, Bill's 'Porridge.'  Bill was kind enough to share the recipe below with the listeners in case any of you are brave enough to try it.

Take 2 cups of Old Fashioned Oats and soak in:

1 cup apple juice and

1 Tablespoon Lemon juice

Soak for at least two hours; Leaving it to soak overnight is ok

Add:

1/2 Cup vanilla yogurt

1 banana, sliced

1/4 cups frozen or fresh blue berries

Serve

It makes two servings and you can substitute any fruit you like; the original recipe called for apples and mangoes.
