
Teen rear-ends line of cars at East Windsor red light, one person dead
EAST WINDSOR — No charges have been filed against against a teen who fatally rear-ended a row of cars waiting at a traffic light on Route 130.
The 17-year-old from Hamilton hit five cars stopped at Hankins Road in East Windsor on the southbound side on Monday at 6:25 p.m with his 2010 Toyota Tacoma, police said.
Roasline Geffard, 62, of Trenton, a passenger in the 2016 Toyota RAV 4 directly hit by the teen's car, was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton where she later died.
The five drivers and two passengers, including a 6-year-old boy, were all hospitalized.
East Windsor Police said the incident remained under investigation and did not disclose the circumstances of the crash.
