I'm willing to bet most of us think we're chocolate experts.

After all, haven’t we spent decades eating Halloween candy, grabbing a candy bar at the convenience store, and maybe splurging on one of those heart-shaped boxes at a gas station impulse rack because we once forgot it was Valentine's Day?

Yeah, clearly we’re not all experts at all. So here’s some advice.

You might want to check out Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.

It’s a chocolate company that says it makes chocolates, clusters, caramels, creams, meltaways, truffles, and much more using only the finest ingredients and they say the end result is going to make you see the light about what great chocolate really is.

A new location, and New Jersey’s second, just opened at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls. The other Jersey location is at Pier Village in Long Branch. Both are owned by David Semer who, according to nj.com,  previously spent 20 years as a Wall Street guy.

You see Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is based in Durango, Colorado and is franchised across the country. They’ve been in business since 1981.

“I just want people to enjoy our great chocolates,” explains Semer. “My goal with our expansion in New Jersey is to bring back that fun, ‘kid in a candy store’ feeling for everyone who walks through our doors. There is something special about seeing a guest’s face light up when they discover a favorite treat.”

Why are you still reading this instead of heading over to score some mouthwatering chocolate? The new location in Tinton Falls is open seven days away week. Mondays through Saturdays from 10am to 9pm and Sundays 10am to 7pm.
