Prosecutor’s office identifies victims of Buena double homicide

BUENA — The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office released the identity of two people found shot dead in a car early Saturday morning.

The victims were identified as 34-year-old Damon Jones of Bridgeton, and 23-year-old Talisa Colon of Vineland. The prosecutor's office did not release any other information about the incident. The deaths have been described as a double homicide so far by the prosecutor's office.

Police were called just after 1 a.m. on Saturday morning when they found the two in the car on Wheat Road.
