Green Bay Packers linebacker Erik Walden is expected to start against the New York Giants on Sunday despite his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Walden's situation is "under review." Given the information the team has as of Wednesday,

McCarthy says Walden is expected to play.

If Walden is subject to any form of discipline from the team, McCarthy says that would be an "in-house" decision that would not be discussed publicly.

Brown County District Attorney John Zakowski said earlier this week that Walden's girlfriend originally told police they were arguing and he pushed her but she has changed her story to say she hit him first.

Walden spent the weekend in jail but has not been charged. He is scheduled to return to court Dec. 7.
