Not Every NJ Beach Has No Dogs Allowed
Some state parks in NJ will allow you to bring your dogs their beach in the summer, which is great. Some dogs will jump right into the water and some do not like the water at all. Yet, our pets need to be around us 24/7 therefore we bring them with us.
Without realizing sometimes, especially for the dogs not going in the water, these beach days or even days by the lake can get very hot, almost uncomfortable no matter how much water you give them.
Imagine your body and face covered in fur and you have the sun beating down on you. Oh sure, the beach give some breezes sometimes but not enough for our fur babies.
My dog, Harper, goes into the water but won't go out too far and stays near my husband. He's a puppy so he's still discovering the ocean and unfortunately crabs.
We got him a tent especially made for dogs especially made for the beach. Anchors down in the sand and actually stays pretty well on those windy days. You can use this all year round for camping, beach days or even at the park.
The company is called Outdoors Professional and the cheapest I have seen them are on Chewy.com and of course Amazon.
The sides have some mesh so that your dog can still get air inside. After playing, Harper fell right to sleep in there. It's so big, you can even hide from the sun and take a nap as well.
We are looking forward to taking it on vacation with us for our Harpie.
