No injuries at raging house fire in Toms River (VIDEO)

TOMS RIVER — Firefighters were battling a blaze that was tearing through a home Wednesday afternoon.

Police said a man and a woman were inside the home at 1401 Silverton Road, but both escaped and neither were injured.

Officials said the fire began in the garage, but details about how the fire may have started weren't available late Wednesday afternoon.

The fire was reported 4:28 p.m. and firefighters were still at the scene before 5:30 p.m.
