JEFFERSON — Authorities say a woman was driving drunk and traveling the wrong way on a major highway in Morris County when she crashed into two police vehicles.

Catherine Pansini, 34, is now facing numerous charges stemming from the crash in this township.

Police say they received several 911 calls about an SUV that was traveling southbound on Route 15 North around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. They say the Lake Hopatcong woman initially collided head-on with a responding police vehicle, then continued traveling southbound before it struck another patrol vehicle head-on and came to a rest.

No injuries were reported in the accidents.

It wasn't known Friday if Pansini has retained an attorney. Her social media accounts describe her as a real estate broker.
