The state Motor Vehicle Commission is not raising fees.

The agency is in the process of deciding what to do about the state's inspection stations. The contract with the company that currently operates them, Parsons Corp., expires in 2016.

Martinez is not saying whether the state plans to turn the job over to private garages.
