The Burlington County Times reports 22-year-old Hyphernkemberly Dorvilier's public defender said at a status conference that the Pemberton woman will have her evaluation completed this week. Dorvilier waved to her family as she entered the courtroom Monday.

Public defender Karen Thek pleaded not guilty on her client's behalf and says she's pursuing an insanity defense.

Authorities say Dorvilier doused her newborn with accelerant and set her on fire in January. The baby suffered third-degree burns and died after she was flown to a Philadelphia hospital.

Dorvilier remains jailed on $500,000 bail. She's due back in court on Sept. 8.
