Have you seen him? 70-year-old called for help on Route 202, went missing

EAST BRUNSWICK — Police are looking for a 70-year-old man last seen on the Route 202 circle in Raritan on Monday.

Ete Szabo left his East Brunswick home around 11 p.m. on Sunday night in his red 2000 Dodge Ram pickup and called for assistance around 2:30 a.m., according to East Brunswick Police. He then told police he was heading home.

Later, his pickup was seen on the Lincoln Highway bridge over the Hackensack RIver in Jersey City. The pickup has New Jersey license plate HY7566.

Szabo has memory loss but has not been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or dementia. He is described as a white male standing 5 feet and 8 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds with dirty blonde hair, according to police, who said he was last wearing a red flannel shirt and brown pants.

East Brunswick Police asked that anyone who has come in contact with Szabo call 732-390-6901.
