BELLEVILLE — Does one of the four officers arrested after a big North Arlington bar brawl look familiar?

NJ.com quoted Belleville Police Chief Mark Minichini Tuesday confirming Jesse J. McKeough, 28, was the same officer seen in a viral video in September, 2013, after he was photographed sleeping in uniform, his his patrol carl, while working a second job at a Stop & Shop on Franklin Street. According to reports at the time, he was suspended for falling asleep in his uniform.

He's now suspended again, according to another NJ.com report, along with three other officers. All are suspended without pay, Minichini also told the news site.

Minichini said that when he first heard of the fight, he suspended three of the officers. He suspended a fourth, Giovanni Casillo, 39, after learning about the charges, he said. It wasn't clear from his statements why Casillo wasn't initially suspended, and he declined to say whether officers followed department policy that requires them to report any such altercation.

As reported Monday by NJ1015.com, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said it first learned about the fight on Oct. 31, though it took place 10 days earlier, at about 1 a.m. on Oct. 21.

The prosecutor's office's Confidential Investigation Unit found that those involved had been led out of the bar by security, but a physical altercation continued outside involving "several of the off-duty police officers and civilians," until Lyndhurst and North Arlington police arrived, the office said.

One civilian was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for minor medical attention and later released, the prosecutor's office said.

At the time, no criminal charges were filed. But the prosecutor's office said it later learned Police Officer John Clarzio provided false information to a Lyndhurst officer who'd arrived at the scene — and charges were then later filed. NJ.com reported Clarzio was accused of giving responding officers a false name.

Clarzio was charged with hindering apprehension and simple assault. Officer Marco Zarfino was charged with two counts of simple assault. Officers Jesse McKeough and Giovani Casillo, as well as pool technician Vasilios Theofanidis, were each charged with one count of simple assault.

All are scheduled to make a first court appearance Dec. 14.
