Park Ranger Margaret Anderson was shot and killed in the line of duty at Mt Rainier National Park in Washington by a troubled Iraqi war vet. The vet was said to be troubled by post traumatic stress; and expressed a desire to kill himself on more than one occasion.

We hear of more and more recent war vets suffering from PTSD, and one wonders if this is more common among vets of more recent conflicts, or if it’s been around for much longer, but we haven’t heard about it as much as we do now?

Also, do you feel we do enough to help these vets that suffer from PTSD. And while I know there will be little to no sympathy for Ranger Anderson’s killer, 24 year old Benjamin Barnes, do you feel we do enough to prevent there from being more “Benjamin Barnes” cases among us?

We still don’t know what all the charges are against Patrick Lott, the Vice Principal of the Bernardsville Middle School, who’s been accused of videotaping naked boys in the shower at Immaculata High School.

His lawyer thinks that his 500 thousand dollar bail figure is too high, although earlier today he didn’t think there were any legal reasons to file a motion to lower the bail.

Seeing is how Jerry Sandusky’s bail was 250 thousand and the charges against him are more numerous, do you feel that 500 thousand in this case is warranted?

Surprise, tolls are up on the Parkway, Turnpike, and the Port Authority Crossings…but you knew that was coming anyway! How much are they banging you out for a day, week, month, and are you doing anything to avoid paying them? Just remember, this is part of financial “genius” Jonny Boy’s legacy!

With the economy being in as crappy a state as it’s in…..and especially if you’re 50 or older, do you feel it’s worth your time top go back to school to try and reinvent yourself. Many boomers have enrolled in New Jersey’s 19 community colleges, according to statistics from the New Jersey Council of County Colleges.
And you thought you were done with school at 23.

And I’m sure that you must have some stories of pit bull or pit bull mixes that are the most loveable, sweetest creatures God has put on this earth. You may have heard of the dog, Amber, a pit bull mix that was abandoned in Pilesgrove with a note on his collar, saying 'I need a family,'.

Well, thanks to recent publicity, the dog will soon get a new, loving home. I saw of picture of the dog, and my heart melted. BUT, I can tell you, without any hesitation, with a new grandchild on the way, I’d still be leery of adopting a pit mix.
