
Camden police officer breaks car window to remove infant
A Camden County police officer smashed out a car window to get an infant out of a hot vehicle Thursday.

The unidentified mother was arrested on child endangerment charges as an investigation continues. No information about the condition of the baby was released.
Officer Belinda Villegas-Ramos, working a detail at a TD Bank branch next door, noticed an infant inside a car parked in front of a CVS store on Mickle Boulevard in Camden just before noon on Thursday morning according to a tweet from the Camden County police department.
6 ABC reports she smashed the window and reached inside to get the crying and sweating infant who was taken to Cooper University Hospital.
