TOMS RIVER— Police say a missing Toms River North high school student has been found.

Toms River police spokesman Ralph Stocco said Thursday that Isabelle "Belle" Lavender, 16, "has been reunited with her family."

The teen went missing sometime in the evening on Sept. 11. Police spent days searching for the high school junior, who was spotted at a CVS store in Kendall Park the morning after she left home.

Police did not elaborate on where she was found or the reason behind the girl's disappearance.

In a post on a Facebook page that was established to help locate and bring Lavender home, the family thanked those who spread the word and assisted in the search.

"Her family and friends can not thank everyone enough for all of your love, support, prayers and well wishes! This has helped immensely during thing most difficult time. We are beyond elated to have a happy ending to this story," the family wrote in a post.
