The crash occurred Tuesday afternoon at about 3 p.m. on the 600-block of Route 206, also known as Lawrenceville Road, just north of Hutchinson Drive.

"Students were on board the bus at the time of the crash and at least one other vehicle was involved," according to CBS Philly.

Authorities told 6ABC that a BMW sedan traveling northbound on the roadway "overcompensated on a curve in the road." As a result, the car crossed into the path of the bus, which was traveling in the southbound lane of traffic.

The impact flipped the bus onto its side, and left both vehicles with severe front end damage.

Three adults and one 16-year-old boy were hospitalized with minor injuries, 6ABC has reported.
