SANDY HOOK — They put "Baywatch" to shame.
More than 200 women lifeguards swam, ran, sprinted, pushed, paddled and surfed on Beach E Wednesday afternoon for the 33rd annual All-Women Lifeguard Tournament.
The competition pitted lifeguarding organizations from up and down the Jersey Shore.
The 10 challenges included surfboat, ocean kayak, surf rescue and swim-run relay.
The competition is sponsored by the Gateway National Recreation Area, of which Sandy Hook is a part.
