From World Series to Super Bowls, Stanley Cups and NBA Championships, New Jersey has produced some of the best athletes in the professional sports world.

Not only were there debates around the offices of New Jersey 101.5 as to who the top NJ athletes are, but for a long time I've always wanted to personally gather a list of these athletes and rank them.

Statistics and championships play a huge role in these rankings. But, we also have to take into consideration the different eras these athletes played in. It was a lot harder for Joe Flacco and the Ravens to win a Super Bowl in 2012, than it was for Franco Harris and the four-time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers back in 1976.
