High temperatures were very, very warm yesterday.  In fact, it crossed the 90 degree mark in a couple of places.  Wrightstown-Burlington County reached 91, and the Trenton-Mercer County Airport also reached 91, which broke the old record set back in 2002 of 90 degrees.  It was 88 degrees at Newark Liberty Airport.

It was much cooler along the beach and boardwalk, as temperatures were falling into the 60 by mid and late afternoon along the oceanfront with a cool sea breeze.

Today, lots of sunshine with a brisk West-Northwest wind.  There'll be no sea breeze at the shore with highs from 76 to 81.

Clear to partly cloudy tonight with temps from the mid 40s to low 50s.

Partly cloudy on Wednesday with the chance of a few afternoon showers, mainly in southern counties.  Wednesday's highs in the lower 60s, but cooler than that near the ocean.

Sunshine returns on Thursday with highs around 70, but cooler again along the coast.

And we may possibly get some much-needed rain over the course of the middle and latter part of the weekend.
