Former Wisconsin cornerback Aaron Henry has been hired as an assistant defensive backs coach at Rutgers.

Scarlet Knights coach Chris Ash announced the hiring Monday. Ash coached Henry at Wisconsin and worked with him at Arkansas with Henry was a graduate assistant.

Henry spent the last two seasons as a defensive graduate assistant focusing on the secondary at Arkansas for coach Bret Bielema.

Henry started 32 of 52 games at Wisconsin and helped lead the Badgers to three consecutive Big Ten titles. He spent time in training camp with the Oakland Raiders.
