The truck, owned by Straight Edge Striping of Bound Brook, overturned into the center median from the northbound lanes between Route 34 and Route 537 around 6:15 a.m. ejecting the three men inside, according to an email from Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Spokesman Charles Webster.

Apolinar Guerrero, 39, of Piscataway and Juan Sanchez, 51, of Bound Brook were pronounced dead on the scene. The driver, Nicolas Denis, 23, of Elizabeth, is hospitalized in stable condition. No other vehicle was involved in the incident.

The road was initially closed in both directions during the morning rush, causing miles of backed up traffic. The southbound side reopened around 9 a.m. but northbound remained closed until around 3:30 p.m. pushing traffic onto local roads in an attempt to get around the closure.

Colts Neck Police ask anyone who has information about the accident contact them at 732-780-7323.
