Maybe this is TMI, but at my doctor visit last week, I discovered I dropped another 10 pounds from earlier in the spring. With a long way to go, I am definitely ratcheting up my activity, and with Memorial Day upon us, I have a lot of plans.

I’ll be doing a lot more swimming this year, and have kayaking scheduled too. Someone’s even trying to talk me into pickleball for the first time. That should be embarrassing!

Staying active is key to so many health and wellness goals, but joint pain and discomfort can make it harder to do the things you love. I'm not as young as I once was, and there's nothing like a long commute home to remind me that my knees aren't either.

But I'm not even concerned about throwing something out of whack, because I know OrthoNJ excels at patient-centered, convenient treatment. They have specialists in knees, hips, spine, shoulder, hand/wrist, foot/ankle, sports medicine, total joint care, and physical and occupational therapy — and more than 30 locations throughout New Jersey.

OrthoNJ is the state's largest independent orthopedic practice, and every practitioner believes in putting patients first. They really take the time to explain all the options in ways their patients can understand. They even explained to me how many options I would have had with them for that slipped disc I dealt with years ago, before I was aware of them. Now, they are the only ones I would see if I had a problem.

So whether you have a new concern or are ready for a second opinion on a persistent problem, visit OrthoNJ.org or call 855-678-4612 for the best care close to home. They'll get you moving again!
