TRENTON — As the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots continue to grow, the odds are long that you'll win one of the jackpots. But what winning about both?

According to Allstate Insurance, the odds astronomical of winning both jackpots at 1 in 75,648,252,765,957,300 — in other words, one in 75 quadrillion.

Spokesman Erick Morelos said the number was reached by Allstate's data science team that usually crunches numbers for insurance purposes.

The number was reached by multiplying the odds of winning Powerball (292,201,338) and Mega Millions (258,890,850).

No ticket matched all five numbers and the Mega ball in Tuesday night's Mega Millions, which grows the jackpot to an annuity value of $382 million for Friday's drawing. The cash value is $238 million. Tuesday night's numbers were 11-17-50-52-74, Mega Ball: 14, Megaplier: 2.

Five tickets sold in Berkeley Heights, Englewood, Newark, Wood-Ridge and Swedesboro matching four numbers and the Mega ball were worth $5,000 each. Since the last Mega Millions jackpot was won 14 weeks ago, six tickets worth $1 million each by matching just five numbers have been sold in New Jersey

The Powerball jackpot, which was last won on June 10, has an annuity value of $307 million and a cash value of $193 million. The next drawing is Wednesday.

The Smith family of Trenton purchased the last winning Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey, taking a cash jackpot of $284 million. Four winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in New Jersey in 2013.
