Odd Animal Sighted in NJ – Was the Heck is it?

Has the NJ Devil finally been photographed? An odd photo has been making its rounds on the social media platform Reddit. It's the photo of a black-skinned animal that isn't easily identified.  The photo of the animal shows a creature that somewhat resembles a black squirrel but it is hairless. It's hard to tell if it was in the rodent family or other type of species. The animal had skinny long toes, a long snout and long tail.
