Not all comedians are impersonators

Comedian Nate Bargatze joined Bill Spadea in the studio today to talk about his upcoming stand-up shows at the Stress Factory, but we learned that although Nate is really good at telling jokes, he’s not so clever on his celebrity impersonations and it was easy for him to admit it.

Bill tried to get him to do his best Christopher Walken, but not only did he sound exactly the same, he was Christopher Walken with a southern twang. Lesson learned, not all comedians are impersonators.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Nate plans to spend time with his wife’s family, making three stops for the holiday since her parents are divorced. A piece of advice from Nate: if you’re going to divorce, suck it up for the kids so when they grow up, they only have to attend one holiday sitting.

Nate will be at the Stress Factory in New Brunswick Friday at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
