NJ school employee had child porn, prosecutors say

WOODBRIDGE  — A man who served the network administrator for a Somerset County school district had child pornography in his home, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.

Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey said Brian Nielsen, 55, who worked for the Bernards Township Board of Education for more than a decade, was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his home, where police say the pornography was found.

Carey said the investigation into Nielsen started after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Nielsen was charged with third-degree possession of child pornography and is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center.
