Spokesman Paul Loriquet says the announcement will be made at a news conference Friday.

Loriquet declined to say whether charges will be filed against any of the troopers who were suspended or transferred in the case.

Meanwhile, an attorney for State Police Sgt. Nadir Nassry, who was suspended after the escort, says he'll discuss "significant developments" in the case at a Thursday afternoon news conference.

Nassry and another trooper were suspended without pay in April. Witnesses said they saw the caravan speeding down the parkway on March 30, escorted by two state police cars.
