What Season Do New Jersey Residents Actually Prefer Most

Without thinking too deeply into it, what would your gut tell you is New Jersey’s favorite season?

They all have their pros and cons. Summer is hot, but the days are long. Spring: the weather starts to warm up, but the pollen and rain are constant. Fall: the weather cools down, and the leaves change color, but winter is on the horizon and the days get shorter. Winter is cold and the days are short, but cozying up to the fireplace with a good TV show is attractive, and the holiday season is in swing.

So, with all that said, what would you consider New Jersey’s best season? Make your guesses now, because the answer is… spring. According to brecks.com, spring is New Jersey’s favorite season.

Part of me is surprised by this, but the other part thinks this makes sense. I used to be a believer that spring was the best season too. You’re looking ahead to summer; the days are long, the weather is finally warming up, and the best part of the year is right around the corner.

Part of me, though, is surprised that fall or summer didn’t get voted as the best. Specifically fall, where the leaves change color, and we get to feel the crisp air each day. It’s one of the most attractive parts of the season, and we get some amazing foliage here in the Garden State.
