A Mansfield man was found shot to death in a car parked in Burlington Township on Sunday, according to Burlington County officials.

Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi said James Dewyer, 68, was found in a car on Monica Court around 4:15 p.m. after police were called to check on the parked silver Dodge Avenger.

Bernardi and Burlington Township Police are asking anyone who may have information about the circumstances leading to his death to call 609-265-7113.

Dewyer is believed to have lived in several motels the past few years. His last legal address was on Linden Road in Burlington Township.
