A motorcyclist died after hitting a car making a left turn on Route 73 late Sunday afternoon.

Joshua Brown, 21, of Williamstown, was driving northbound on a Suzuki motorcycle in Winslow Township around 5:45 p.m. when he hit an Accura turning left onto Westbury Drive, police said. Brown was thrown from the motorcycle onto the shoulder of the roadway.

The car was being driven by Rafael Vazquez, 43, of Philadelphia, police said. Police said no charges have been filed against the driver.

His motorcycle went off the road and broke into several pieces, hit a tree and went into the air before landing in a grassy area according to police.  The motorcycle's battery hit a Jeep driven on the southbound side by Robert Mazzeo, 75, of Milmay, police said.

None of the other drivers were injured in the crash.

An accident investigation closed down the road in both directions for six hours on Sunday night.
