MONTCLAIR — Police are looking for a woman who "dropped trou" and exposed herself to customers and employees inside a frozen yogurt shop in the Essex County township after being denied a cup of the frozen treat.

Montclair police investigate indecent exposure at frozen yogurt shop

Authorities say that on Tuesday, July 21, a woman walked into the 16 Handles on South Park Street in Montclair and tried to help herself to a cup of fro-yo without paying for it.

When she told employees she didn’t have any money for the yogurt, the workers told her she could not have it, then.

Woman allegedly exposed herself after being denied free frozen yogurt

That’s when the woman became irate. According to Montclair Local, police say she walked out of the shop, stood in front of the store window, took off her pants, exposed her buttocks and mooned everyone inside.

She then turned around and exposed her genitalia to customers and employees inside 16 Handles.

Police ask public to help identify Montclair suspect

Nobody knows who this woman is at this point. All police have to go on is that she was seen leaving the area wearing black glasses and carrying two red bags.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Montclair Police Department.
