I've been on a little bit of a miniature golf kick lately, playing a few rounds at Pleasant Valley in Voorhees, a charming little course that has been a South Jersey staple for decades. It sits along Route 73 and has that classic old-school feel.

There are so many great miniature golf courses throughout New Jersey, so I was extremely excited to hear that one of them was even named one of the best in the country!

Jersey Shore Mini Golf Spot Earns National Recognition

If you're looking to take a little break from the summer sun and head indoors, USA Today's 10Best recently released its list of the best and most unique mini-golf spots across the country, chosen by its editors and readers.

Monsters Mayhem, a glow-in-the-dark mini golf course in Wildwood, was named one of the best in America. It's a fun indoor course right along the Wildwood Boardwalk.

And there's another nationally recognized course not too far away, just over the bridge in Philadelphia.

Philly Mini Golf at Franklin Square also makes the list, making it another fun spot to check out if you're looking to explore somewhere new.

So whether you're sticking close to home or taking a little day trip, there are plenty of great places and still plenty of summer left to grab a putter and play a round!
