Monroe Township hockey player Mikey Nichols who was injured in a game last January that left him paralyzed joined me in studio last night with his father Steve.

Mikey took phone calls, and spoke about a breakthrough called epidural stimulation, a 'Big Idea from the Christopher Reeve foundation. Nichols explained how epidural stimulation could give him back many essential functions, such as bowel control, bladder control, and temperature control, as well as being able to stand. Mikey also told me the story about what happened the night he got hurt. His father Steve also shared his anguish, and spoke about how Mikey had died for a minute, and was brought back to life
