Man tried to grab boy at Brick Walmart, police say

BRICK — A 10-year-old boy told police a man tried to grab him while shopping with his mom at Walmart on Thursday.

The boy was several feet from his mother at the store on Route 88 in Brick around 12:25 p.m. when the man as tried to grab the boy's wrist, according to Brick Police.

The boy pulled his arm away and the man left the area without speaking, police said.

Police said the man was described as a older white male; with white or gray hair; between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall;  with a medium build. He was wearing a dark colored baseball cap.
