If you’re like me, spice is always welcome in your meal. That’s why I love getting a plate full of authentic Indian food.

One beloved chain that is famous for serving incredible Indian cuisine is making its way to the Garden State.

The Kati Roll Company is coming to New Jersey

Kati Roll Co. is popular in New York for its Kolkata-style street food made up of grilled fillings wrapped in roti or paratha; now they’re crossing the Hudson to open up in New Jersey.

The chain provides delicious meat and vegetarian options, fresh cheese and savory Indian spices, hot and ready-to-eat on the go.

Kati rolls are a beloved street food in Kolkata, India.

The word “kati” means “skewer.” The kati rolls are made of skewer-grilled ingredients stuffed in a buttery paratha flatbread and topped with chutneys and spices.

What sets The Kati Roll Co. apart from the rest is the quality of its ingredients. They have all halal meats, antibiotic and hormone-free chicken, hand-ground spices and fresh produce.

They marinate all of the ingredients daily and promise to never ever use pre-packaged foods or sauces.

So where are they in New Jersey?

The Kati Roll Co. is located at 924 Bergen Ave. in Jersey City, NJ.

Jersey City’s Journal Square neighborhood is known for having authentic Indian food, making this a perfect fit.

While this is their first location in the Garden State, we can hope for more as the company expands.
