III Amici In Linden Is Closing After 36 Years Of Sunday Dinners
When a favorite restaurant closes down, as dramatic as it may sound, it is a little bit like losing a friend.
The place was there for you in times of celebration, brought you comfort when you needed a pick-me-up, or was just a reliable choice when you needed somewhere to go in a pinch.
This will soon be the case for III Amici Ristorante in Linden, NJ, which announced that they will be closing their doors for good in August.
III Amici Ristorante in Linden is closing
Amici’s is known for preparing traditional Italian dishes like pasta, fish, antipasti, salads, seafood, chicken, veal, or pork chops.
The owner, Giovanni Lavorato, put up a statement on the restaurant’s website with the news that after 36 years of serving Union County the restaurant will close.
Over the years, our restaurant became a place where memories were made – where families gathered for Sunday dinners, friends celebrated life’s milestones, couples shared special moments, and neighbors came together over great food and warm conversation.

The connection with customers over the years is sure to stick with Lavorato: “We have been honored to serve generations of families and to watch our community grow through the years. These relationships have been the true foundation of Amici’s and the reason our journey has been so meaningful.”
Get your final taste of their Italian cuisine before they close for good on Aug. 2, by visiting them at 1700 W. Elizabeth Ave. in Linden, NJ.
