Bill Spadea and his Chasing News colleague and regular morning show guest Jessica Nutt were in Irvington and Paterson serving up meals to the less fortunate and reading to kids last week.

This was the third year in a row that Jessica and Bill have been invited to participate in the charity event held by NJ entrepreneur Adenah Bayoh. Adenah was the youngest person to take on an IHOP franchise and now her thriving business has two locations. Every year she closes for business around Christmastime and opens her doors to families who need help.

More than 600 families were fed a hot meal and the kids in attendance were treated to the reading of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
