A missing Plainsboro teen may have left the area via train according to police.

Surveillance footage shows Anna Qian, 17, at the Princeton Junction train station on Saturday morning around 9:38 a.m. according to Plainsboro Police, who said Qian was last seen on Friday at West Windsor High School north. around 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon. The Princeton Patch reports Qian appeared to be asking for money.

She is described as a female of Asian descent, approximately 5'3 inches, 115 lbs and last seen wearing a long black jacket, pink shoes and a large purple backpack.

Police said they have searched the immediate area of the high school on Grovers Mil Road and used K-9 units from the NJ Dept. of Corrections to search around her home. Law enforcement in surrounding communities are also looking for Qian. NJ Advance Media reported Qian may have been upset over a grade at school.
