Hackensack police seek knockout assault suspect

HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) -- Hackensack police are seeking a man suspected of sucker punching three people all on the same day.

A video released by the Simple Simon Market on Essex Street shows the athletically built suspect punch a man in the face and stroll away. The man fell to the ground.

Two other assaults took place within less than 15 minutes in the areas of Essex Street, Summit Avenue and Beech Street on Monday night.

The victims were two men in their 50s and a man in his 20s. None was badly injured.

Councilman Leo Battaglia tells The Record (http://bit.ly/1ttazsu ) newspaper police are working hard to arrest the assailant.
