Let’s hear it for Janice Huggins of South Harrison Township a retired teacher and volunteer of the welcome staff at Citizens Bank Park who performed the Heimlich maneuver on a young woman she noticed choking on the stadiums concourse.

Huggins a past winner of South Harrison’s Lifetime Achievement and Resident of the Year awards will be honored by the Phillies as their “Employee of the Month” on the field before the start of their May 5 game against the Blue Jays, said Phillies publicist and business communications specialist Deb Rinaldi. Her reward will include four tickets to a game and a parking pass.

Now if only she could teach perform that anti choking maneuver on the team itself. I kid I kid, But in all seriousness, have you ever performed the Heimlich maneuver? Do you know how to do it of you need to?
