Disney magic — NJ kids sent on once-in-a-lifetime adventure
There hasn't been many "happy" stories in the news recently, but thanks to Pete Stilianessis from the NJ State Troopers Union, we changed that narrative, at least for a little while.
Pete called in to let us know about an event happening this morning at Trenton Airport. A group of special needs kids were on a day trip to Disney World in Florida. The kids were part of the Sunshine Foundation's Operation Dreamlifts.
To see the kids off, a group of NJ Troopers, local police and fire, alongside civilians dressed as superheroes, showed up to see the kids off on their amazing journey.
